ANTHIA NIBIZI

 

Anthia Nibizi was born in Ngozi, Burundi located in East Africa. She studied Fine Arts at 
Abilene Christian University, in Abilene Texas. Nibizi’s work has been exhibited at The Center 
for Contemporary Arts, Abilene Christian University Shore Gallery, and the Abilene Christian 
University Library. She was awarded Best of Show for the 2018 Intercollegiate Student Art 
Competition, and 2nd place for both 3D and 2D Art for the 2017 Intercollegiate Student Art 
Competition. Her work has been published in ACU’s newspaper The Optimist and has been featured on stamps sold by the Abilene Christian University Mail Services.
